Le cellier adr for 1

Has anyone tried to make an ADR at Le Cellier for one person & been successful

I have looked a reservations & if I put table for one it tells me there is no availability but if I put table for two they are available-surely this would be the same table ?

I have had no luck getting a table for 2. We have friends that will be at DW the same time as us so we booked a table for 4, but now they aren't sure that they want to eat there. I'm hoping there aren't any issues when we show up as a party of 2, if they really do back out. I don't want to lose the ressie so I'm just leaving the way it is.

Le Cellier has been the worst with this issue (odd # of people issue) since at least 2009. Go ahead and book for 2 unless it's a prepaid/CC held event (e.g. CP), the restaurant knows about the issue and it's just one of those things.

Note: I have done with both with 3 people (setting it as 4) and 1 person (setting as 2).

Beyond that, there is an issue with odd numbers in the system and you will often get different times if you go +1 from the odd number (e.g. 1, 3, 5 goes to 2, 4, 6). I have seen this at many places, with the odd numbers typically having far less availability.
