We will be @ WDW in Feb & I wanted to try Le Cellier, will it be ok with a 2.5 yo child? Also she doesnt eat like any "normal" child, she only eats fruits, veggies, beans and peanut butter. So will I be able to share things from my meal with her or could I request a plate for her with salad type veggies such as tomatoes, red peppers, olives and fruit? Or squash & zuchini (sp?) Cost isnt an issue as much as it being something she will eat and not scream "ooeeww gross!" so the whole place can turn and stare at the weird kid that wont eat chicken nuggets.
TIA!

When we last visited in July, guests were pretty much 50/50 families and all-adults. That being said, I don't think I'd try to take my nearly 3 yo dd. The place is fairly dim, and our wait for service quite long. Also, there really isn't anything to keep the little ones entertained.

We took our 2 year old and our 1 year old and they were fine. Can you pack some sort of snack for her to nibble on while you wait? Would she like the breadsticks? They come out pretty quick. They also gave my kids crayons and paper to occupy them.
(on a funny note, I double checked with my dd11 if they had crayons there, she asked why, and I said people wanted to know what would occupy their kids there, and my dd said "how about EATING? :confused3 Can you tell she likes her food? LOL)
Does she like melon? My sons had the kids meals and it had melon as a side. You definately can share with her, but I bet they would be pretty accomidating if you ordered just some sides for her, especially if you are not worried about cost. All the restaurants were really nice to our kids. :flower:

I thought it was fairly "Kid Friendly". I took my 2 DSs (7 & 8) and I know that is a good bit older but there were plenty of families there with little ones. It is quite dim and the service is a bit long...but well worth it. I let my son get spaghetti........BIG MISTAKE! You would have thought we were eating at an outdoor picnic. They loved the bread you are given...maybe your little one could nibble on it. Have a great trip.

We brought some snacks for our 2 yr old but she really liked the bread they had.

We took our three year old and they went out of thier way to make us feel comfortable. He loved the bread and melon, also I think we able to get him some brocoli.

Thanks to all for your input, I was mostly concerned about the "appropriateness" (not really sure this is a word, but) in taking a toddler, she is very well behaved & is very accustom to eating dinner out, so will being eating here. And for the breadsticks, she will indeed eat these if I can find parm cheese & she will eat the melon too. We are very used to taking things with us for her to eat & books/crayons & paper to keep her busy and we will do so for this trip too. Thanks again to all.

We jus got back from an October trip and we took our 16 month DD there for lunch. We say a lot of other little ones.... unfortuantly for us our DD was being a bit cranky at first and it took some walking outside to calm her down but after that she was fine.

The food does take a good amount of time to come out... it is definatly a place to go and relax and eat (taking your time). I would say go and try it out. Remeber it is Disney and everywhere, except PI, is for families... my DH kept reminding me of this as well.

We went in Sept with DD(28 months). She was great and the Host made sure they were entertained with magic tricks!!! That said we did go right at 4pm first dinner ressie so they were right on us when we got there. We had already looked over the menu on the website so we KNEW what we wanted.
