Since we could not get a dinner ADR, we had lunch.

The restaurant is smaller then I thought it would be, but very pretty. It was not at all crowded so we did not feel as though anyone was sitting on top of us.

We started out with the Cheddar cheese soup

This is my new favorite, I have read so much about this soup on the boards, and it did not dissapoint. :thumbsup2 Very creamy. Yummmmm

They bring out a couple of different types of bread, but our favorite by far was the pretzel bread.

My DS had the Steak cheeseburger with french fries.

He really enjoyed this.

DH had the New York Strip Steak - with bercy butter, balsamic red onions, watercress, and roasted Yukon potatoes

He said it was cooked perfectly and very tender. Really enjoyed this meal.

I had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce , but I substituted the mashed potatoes for the risotto.

This was delicious, cooked just the way I like it, and very tender also, the mashed potatoes that I had heard so much about were wonderful. Yummmyyy

For desert my DS had the Campfire Somores

DH had the Chocolate - on -Chocolate Whiskey Cake

I had the Creme Brulee

Sooooo Good. Wish I had some now. ;)

Before the main course's were served my DS knocked his glass of soda over and the glass shattered all over the floor, table and my DH, It seemed like there were Cm's coming from everywhere to clean it up and pick up all the glass, and my DS was so upset. The cm's were wonderful, went out of thier way to make my DS feel better, telling him not to feel bad, and how they have broken very expensive bottles of wine, etc. I really appreciated how kind they were to him, made our experience there so much nicer. We would go back in a heart beat. This is a must do for every trip from now on.

Thanks for the great review!!! We absolutely love LeCellier and always make sure we make ADR's for it each trip. :)

Thanks for the great review. Anxiously awaiting our next meal there in September!

Great Review! I was excited before, but now I can't wait to eat there next month:banana:

I keep reading all this amazing stuff about this restaurant, and my hubby and I can't get an ADR because it is booked the entire week we will be there!! I wish I had known when I first made our other ADRs and I would have cut out another place for this one... so jealous of all you who are getting to go there!

I think I'll keep trying though - I've heard maybe some people will cancel the week before the trip... hope so!

We are going in Sept. for lunch....we have a ressie for 4 but there will only be 2 of us....I found out they dont have very many tables for 2.
You might try a ressie for 4 instead.......see what happens.....it really is pretty late to get in to LeCe. in Sept...but its worth a shot!!! Good Luck!!!

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for posting.

Mmm...I just had dinner and this is still making me hungry. Thank you for posting the pictures! Or maybe not...this is is going to make it even harder to wait for my next trip!

If you're reading this thread because you're considering going to Le Cellier, allow me to add my own recommendation. This was one of my favourite meals of my previous two trips! The crème brulée is fantastic. I had several at WDW and it was by far the best.

The servers I have had in the past have been very friendly and the food is, once again, superb. It's a great deal on the DDP too, nearly as expensive as the signature (two full-service credit) restaurants.

Well? What are you waiting for? Go make your ADRs before it's too late!

Great review! :)
i LOVE LeCelier! And i also wish i had some of the Creme Brulee right now! :cloud9:

LC is an excellent place. I would gladly dine there again on my next trip in 2010, even though we wont be doing the DDP. Its pricy, but damn goooooood:woohoo:

we have an ADR for Sept 6th as we LOVED it the last 2x we dined there----:thumbsup2 can't wait for that cake YUM!!!!!

Which steak is the best choice at Le Cellier?

I would recommend the Mushroom Fillet Mignon. I have had other steaks at Le Cellier and never been disappointed, but well, they're just steaks, however well prepared. The Musroom Fillet Mignon is something different.

Absolutely love Le Cellier...glad your experience was wonderful, too!

LeCellier is the only restaurant in Epcot that we havent tried yet ... will make a point to plan ahead before our next trip to be sure we can have at least one meal there! Thanks for the great review!
