I'm planning dinner at Le Bistro on our second day in Epcot - we can't make a PS until 30 days out - So I will be attempting Nov. 8 - is it very difficult to get in, and what time in the morning do they begin taking calls?

It isn't that hard to get into Bistro de Paris. I recently called for our Nov. trip. From the info. you put in your post - your dining date must be in early Dec. - that is not a busy time of year and you should have no problem getting in.

The call center opens at 7AM EST - BUT - the lines are jammed for maybe a good hour with people calling to try for the Cinderella breakfast in the castle. I would wait until that first rush is over so that you can get through the phone lines.

I was also worried and called the day before I could make my Bistro PS to ask about it - the CM said not to worry. She said there were still alot of openings left for the days that were already available to callers. They don't book up that quickly.

Thanks! I haven't eaten here, although we did at eat at Chef's, and looking forward to trying it out!

I agree with Rhonna . . . . we eat at Bistro every year and it is rarely crowded. Our last visit in April during the height of Spring Break we did not have a reservation and just dropped in to see what they had - we were seated immediately by the window and had a great, relaxing meal.

Enjoy!

This is off topic, so please forgive me. :o Our family loves LCdF, and would love to try Le Bistro. We have a 12 yo., and I know that you used to have to be 18 to dine there. Is this still true? Thanks for the info. :)

DS13 & I have been dining there for years. There are often children there. Don't know about a kid's menu though since mine has eaten off the adult menu since age 5. I do know that he has never been treated badly there or made to feel 'out of place'. It is one of our special treats - he loves the lobster and I love whatever fish special there is and we both adore the souffles. So go, have fun and enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I can't believe we've been missing out on this all these years. I'm sure I read that you had to be 18, more than once. Obviously, you can't always believe what you read. :(
My DS was like yours, and hasn't ever really eaten off a kid's menu. When he was small, he always wanted what I had. I didn't take us long to learn that if I wanted to eat my own meal, we would have to let him order what he wanted off the adults menu. I can't wait to try it now. :D

I didn't know anything about the age restrictions, but I'm taking my 19yr old son and his 17 yo girlfriend, so hopefully we'll squeak by!
