Layout of OKW?

We are new DVC members & just got back from AKV. Had a great time but want to try OKW. Are the buildings far from the main building? or it is set up like the Grand Floridian buildings? Are there any golf carts to rent or is the walking not to bad? There seem to be a few bus stops within OKW. Where do these buses go? Directly to the parks?

OKW is set up like a community. There are many buildings and it's very spread out, but getting around is easy. There are 5 bus stops throughout the resort, and if you don't wish to walk to Hospitality House, you hop the first bus and it will always stop at HH before it exits the resort.

Buses go from OKW to each of the parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney. There is also an internal bus that keeps running the route to get you from whatever area to HH.

FYI, I think we do far less walking at OKW than we do at AKV. The hallways at the hotel type places can be long, but walking outdoors at OKW can be more direct. Even when we stay down at the South point bus area, we find we can walk to HH quite easily in about 5 minutes.
