Layout Challenge #13

Hi everyone

I'm new to the scrapbooking forum and I have been trying to join in with teh challenges to get some inspiration and try and finish some pages. I ahve jsut done a lo for It's a small world in the other thread. My question is I am a digitial scrapper so it this challenge just traditional scrapping or can a digi scrapper enter as well?

First, !! Nice to have you in our cozy little corner of the boards!!!
We had this question come up just last challenge... Here is what I said on the subject. It's tradition that the winning entry hosts the next challenge.

Me personally, I don't mind if it's digital or traditional... I however had not put any thought into a prize for digital entries. As long as you don't mind getting a traditional item as a prize I'm all for it...

As for drawing the winner..it's an open draw... the hostess puts the name in a bucket, hat, cup..and someone draws the winner...so it's open to anyone as long as they are willing to host the next challenge.

If for some reason you'd rather not be chosen as a winner you could always enter and ask not to be put in the drawing... but we'd love to have you in the drawing. We started these challenges for the traditional scrappers just to start thinking outside their comfort zones..BUT we are open to all scrappers digi/ traditional/ hybrid....

yep that was what i would say too! This challenge is more general than some of the others. It can easily be paper or digital. But the prize needs to be something for the paper scrappers.

ok thats great thanks for filling me in on how it all works. I have some really cute valentines kits that I want to use so if I can find the right photo I will give this challenge a go.

I am hapy to think of a challenge if I was to win and give a prize. When I was out in Florida christmas 2007 I went overboard and brought a lot of disney scrapbooking supplies so I am sure I could get a prize together if necessary. It would be good for someone to use them because I never got a project off the ground, lack of time, confidence and equipment. I found digital scrapping recently and it just suits me better as I have always played around with our photos on the pc so I am in my comfort zone

One last question I am in the UK so is it still ok to play or would prize posting be an issue?

The posting prizes to the UK doesn't scare most of us!!! We have several swap/scrapping girls from the UK on here!!!

Cool LO AWM. I like it!!!

Here is mine. My element is the journal box. My embellishings are brads, inking, prima.

The journaling text says Pixies, Princesses & Princes may be fine and dandy... ...But nothing can my heart beat faster than... Disney Villians.

I'm going to try to do this challenge. I have a picture that I'd like to use, but I don't remember if there is a 2nd picture to go with it. I'm going to go look and see what I've got and try to put something together this weekend.

Great LOs so far everyone

I am just starting mine and I have a quick question.

Disney themed does this mean that the photos have to be form Disney or can they be photos from whereever but made to have a disney feel either by using disney embellishments or quotes etc?
