Does anyone know of a good limo/transfer company that will provide a car seat for my 2 year old?

We just used Super Shuttle this week and thye were great. They have both a shuttle, Town Car and Limo Services with child seats as an option. Booked and paid including tip online. We used a meet and greet service and had no problems. Our driver was there as we walked out of customs.

Super Shuttle's website said they didn't provide car seats...I'll give them a call then and see if they can help.

Just got an email back from Super Shuttle...

If traveling with children, it’s required to use child safety seats. If federal, state, or local law requires your children to be secured in a child safety seat, please bring one. SuperShuttle does not provide child safety seats, and we might not be able to provide service without the use of child safety seats.

Does anyone else know of a company that will provide car seats?

We used the super shuttle last year from LAX to the GCH. Our son was just 19mths at the time. They are mini buses and whilst they didn't have a car seat for him they buckled him in on our lap and we felt safe enough.

We used execucar/supershuttle for a private transfer it worked out the same cost for us and we didn't have to stop. If you type in supershuttle coupons in google you're bound to find at least 5% off.

We carred one of those boosters that's bottom only. We found we could fit this in a suitcase or strap it onto a carry on as it was so light. The other alternative would be to hire a car from the airport with a car seat.

Or try a town car service, these companies all offer car seats.

We used a town car to get from our LA hotel to the airport and he had a great carseat, unfortunately forgot to grab a business car. Also, HOJO's had a town car service they used, I can't remember if they had car seats though. We did get a bit slack as our trip went on. Although at home I would never let my youngest travel without a car seat.

Thanks for the info! I will bring a half booster if I have to, but we are travelling on to Canada and the suitcases will be pretty full with warm clothes so if I can find someone that provides one it would be great. I've read some bad reviews on some of the car seats that some limos provide so was hoping someone had used one recently.

We were there last month and used Zippy Shuttle (zippyshuttle.net) from LAX to Anaheim. We have 2 kids aged 2 and 4 so needed 2 different seats and Ken from Zippy was great. The seats were almost brand new, very clean as was the van. I emailed a few limo/transfer companies that were recommended and got no reply and we weren't happy taking the kids on a bus in LA traffic without car seats but also didn't want to take our own. Ken quoted $110 including tip although we still tipped him extra as he was so entertaining and kept the kids amused with his stories of Disneyland. We rang him when we collected our bags and he picked us up within a few minutes. Much easier than having lots of stops when all you want to do is get to your hotel.
I would definately recommend him.

Thanks so much for that Goldie! My husband has booked with someone for around $80 plus tip....can't remember who it was...started with an a! If we find they aren't very good then I will definately give zippy shuttle a call.
