I'll tell you exactly, down to the minute, on one condition... tell me what the winning Powerball numbers will be for Wednesday's drawing.

No one can tell you when the rates will be the cheapest. One study currently says 54 days before your departure is the "key" moment, but that's on average, and has plenty of exceptions to not follow that advice (even stated on the study's website).

Buy when you're comfortable with the price, and unless you are booking on an airline that offers no (or low) fee changes, don't look again.

I personally believe prices are the cheapest ~10-10 1/2 MONTHS out. Others disagree.
