Hi!
We are stsying at PVI March 12-15. We have an early (6:50AM) flight out of LAX on the 16th, so we are planning to book a hotel near the airport for the 15th. We can spend the day at Disneyland and just Uber to the hotel late that evening. I assume that’s a better option than trying to get from Anaheim to LAX that early in the morning?? Does anyone have any LAX hotel recommendations??? This is our very first trip out west and we aren’t familiar with the area.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Head to Google Maps

Most the LAX airports are located on W Century Boulevard

Depending on your budget you should check out

  1. Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel
  2. Crown Plaza Los Angeles Airport
  3. Residence Inn By Marriott Los Angeles
  4. Los Angeles Airport Marriott
  5. Hilton Los Angeles
  6. The Westin Los Angles
  7. La Quinta Inn and Suites LAX
  8. Holiday Inn Los Angeles LAX Airport

Stick to any of the hotels on that main drag of Century Blvd and you are fine...the rest of the surrounding neighborhood is not all that great. Stayed at a Holiday Inn Express a few blocks off once and surprised that my tires were still on my car in the AM!

Residence Inn is lovely and has a free breakfast and free shuttle to the airport. The rooms are big and nicely set out. Love the robot butler too!

We did this for arrival night on our recent trip! I stay at Hilton properties for work and typically have a good amount of HHonors points saved up. We stayed at the LAX Embassy Suites North and thought it was great. Lots of space in the nice, clean rooms and a good breakfast. We Ubered from the hotel to a nearby shopping center to get Panera for dinner and grab some groceries. Then, we got DD to bed early. We then Ubered to Paradise Pier the next morning to really start our trip!

Given the departure time of the OP's flight, there probably won't be time to enjoy a free breakfast (assuming the hotel even starts serving that early) -- so I would look for lower rates that don't include breakfast. We also like the Sheraton Gateway. There is a Starbucks in the lobby where we grab breakfast on our way to the terminal.

After our 2016 trip, when we left, we actually stayed at the LAX Motel 6, and it was pretty decent, especially for Motel 6. This place was completely indoors, and had an elevator too.
