Lax airport

i know immigration is a nightmare getting into lax

But if flying in to lax on a domestic flight and then flying right out again same night on another domestic how long would you allow between each flight

What terminal to what terminal? Is the first flight international? You'd need to clear customs at LAX, if so.

Would be Honolulu to lax with AA
Second would be lax to Vegas .... Not sure who booking with if do it ... Possibly AA

As long as you are staying in the same terminal you should be OK with a 1 hour layover. Most of the terminals in LAX are quite compact and there is not a lot of travel between gates. Some recommend that 45 minutes is OK, but I try to leave at least an hour. If you are changing Airlines or terminals, make sure you leave yourself loads of time to catch the next flight. Travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 can take some time, as they are on opposite sides of the airport.
