We're getting ready to leave in 25 days and counting. My SIS (40), AA (36), my BF (40 - birthday girl) and me (32). We have one newbie to DL, one newbie to any Disney park and SIS and I who are WDW vets but haven't been to DL in 25 years.

We have a beach day planned on March 13th as we are traveling in from all over the countries (US and CAN) the day before. So we're headed to Dana Point for whale watching and then drive up the beach to Huntington to watch the surfers. Probably stopping in Newport at the state beach on the way to make use of the fire pits! S'mores anyone?

Then off to DL for the 14th-16th. We've got Toontown morning our first day in - hoping we meet lots of characters. and then over to DCA to try and see everything we can before going back over for Fantasmic.

Sunday is MM hour so off the Fantasyland and then through DL all day - hoping it won't be too crowded (fingers crossed) and then fireworks and fantasmic (gluttons for punishment, but figure we'll try)

Monday is our catch up day for anything we missed and maybe a character meal. Haven't decided yet.

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll have a great time!! Fantasmic is such a great show & worth the crowds & waiting time. :wizard:
Have a magical trip!!:flower3:

Sounds exciting! I will actually be in Disneyland (1st TIME!!) from March 12th-16th and i cannot wait! I have been to Disney World over 19 times so I'm very excited to see where it all began. :)

15 days and counting! Have my passes in hand. Have added a birthday breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen for Friday morning - DK is going to freak (it's a surprise!). :cutie:

RideMax has helped calm a lot of my fears. I thought I might be a fish out of water swapping to DL from WDW, but for the most part my plan on wait times seems about right.

Shocked at Pooh's wait times though! This is a busy and sought after ride at WDW (need to be there first thing or get your FP). Maybe we'll ride that a few times :)

Looking forward to being in "walt's" park. I can't wait!

You're getting so close! Hope DK enjoys the birtday breakfast, that sounds awesome!

Eleven days and counting! Can't wait! Tired of freezing!!! We got snow - in TN - in March - what is up with that?????

We saw that on the news!!! Crazy weather....... I know what you mean about the waiting.....it seems to take forever!!

My final Pre-Trip Report!

Thank you to those of you who provided the Wal-Mart code for Alamo and the discount codes for Super Shuttle! Saved me some dough!

We are taking our binoculars and beach stuff for Friday - starting the day at GK - I can't wait! I so want to try that creme brulee french toast. :goodvibes
There is a sports museum in Newport we're going to try and a few spots along the beach to have a cookout and try to do some whale watching. Then we're headed into Huntingdon (hoping the surf is good) to watch the surfers and have dinner either at Duke's or Ripley's I think. . . .

Then off to DL on Saturday - going to Toontown MM to do the ceremony and hopefully get on all the rides (maybe meet Mickey?) and then IASM and over to DCA for most of the day. Renting HSM3 tonight so I have some clue what is going on in the show - DK is a BIG fan. Then back to DL for the night shows.

Sunday - DL all day! Going in on MM, will do a break for lunch and catch the show attractions around mid-afternoon - and do the canoes, hoping Columbia is running this day!

Monday - Finish up day - catching whatever we missed, and taking our time exploring Main Street (maybe doing another run on some favorites). Really want to try Carnation Cafe one of these days - and Red Rocketts

Tuesday - we all fly out around noon - but having a breakfast together at Mimi's before we go. Thanks for tip on the eclub! We'll need a break on the $ by then. Too many Tigger tails and Dole whips will be purchased prior :rolleyes1

It sounds like you're ready. If you're wanting to do the Carnation Cafe, I'd suggest making PS for it....they're pretty popular & it would assure your family a spot.
How's the weather??? Just curious cause the passes we need to drive over in 3 days got snow last night.....UGH! I hate driving in the snow!!
