Saturday 20 February 2010 - Day Three
Had a difficult night with Eric - he was up at 3 am and we managed to settle him with us until about 5 am when we got up and gave him some cereal. Andy stayed up with Eric so that I could get some rest. They woke me up about 8.30 am. We all had some cereal and I had a bath. I put Eric in with me like I do at home (if he goes in on his own he just stands up and tries to climb out!) but he objected loudly so Andy lifted him out and gave him a wash instead. We carried on washing him on our knees for the rest of the trip, which was perhaps just as well as the plug in the bath tub didn't fit properly and we had to jam it up with a flannel so most of the bath water was lost before we even got in!
We left the villa at 10.20 am and drove over to the Florida Mall. It was about 11 am by this time and Eric was fast asleep so I nipped in to use the
restroom. Whilst I was in the mall, Kari's mom phoned to say they would be on I-Drive around 12 if we wanted to meet up. We decided to go back as Eric was asleep anyway and we really wanted to see Arlene and Mike.
To pass the time before they met us at McDonalds, we went to Walgreens for a few supplies - mountain dew, peanut butter Twix, a Mickey cup for Eric and some Sally Hansen nail polish for me! We met Mike and Arlene in the car park at the big McDonalds and chatted to them for about 15 minutes. They told us about a place they knew where you could see manatees in the wild at this time of year, so we planned that in to do when Kari joined us the following week.
After Kari's parents went on their way we headed inside to get some lunch. We got a cheeseburger happy meal, 10 piece chicken nugget meal and Andy had a chicken ranch BLT meal with fries. Eric ate half of his burger, three chicken nuggets and some fries. His happy meal came with one of the Penguins of Madagascar who as he was a security penguin made a loud noise if you walked past him. (That got tired in a hurry at stupid o'clock in the morning).
After lunch we headed to the Prime Outlet mall as we were much nearer to there. Andy bought some Skechers whilst me and E ran around in the sunshine. We went to the Disney Store and bought E a WDW colouring book for a couple of dollars as he is mad on colouring (and Disney!) I also got 5 hand sanitizers in Bath and Body Works for $5 and a cute little holder for them for 50 cents.
We left the mall around 4.30 pm. Eric had some chocolate buttons, then fell asleep in the car. We headed back to the Florida Mall and arrived about 5 pm.
Eric was still asleep and Andy was feeling the effects of the very early morning, so he went to Starbucks to get us a coffee. I had a mocha and Andy had a vanilla latte, and he brought some orange juice for Eric for when he woke up. We drank our coffees in the car and headed inside when Eric awoke.
We had a look round Hot Topic and then we did an assault on Victorias Secret. I could (and frequently do) spend a fortune in there. I bought a secret Charm gift set for a friend's birthday, a new Pink perfume for me and one for my sister,, gold and silver Beauty Rush eyeshadows, Pink hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shine serum, and a VS Men set for Andy for our wedding anniversaryin April (it's OK, he knows about it).
Eric was getting bored though he had done very well in VS, running round with different bags of things, so we decided to get some tea in the food court. We shared a cheese pizza and a venetian chicken with rice and sweetcorn. We called in at the other Victorias Secret store so that I could get some Amber Romance body butter which they didn't have in the first shop and had a quick look round the Disney Store before setting off back to the villa at 7.50 pm.
Eric had an orange when we got in and then we put him to bed. Me and Andy had a cup of tea and then Andy had a bath. We finished the evening with Bud Lites and I ate my peanut butter Twix. We were in bed about 11.45 pm.

.So happy to see some up-to-date pics of Prince Eric.So glad you decided to go back straight away-was deffinatley a good decision to make.Can't wait to read more
