Laundy Info

Hey everyone,

So we are leaving for WDW on Saturday and are trying to get all our ducks in a row. Does anyone know how much the washer and dryer costs? Also, do all the machines accept debit or do I need to bring quarters? I have been looking everywhere for current info on this but to no avail.

And be prepared that the dryers take longer, clean the vent before starting your load and bring a book to hang by the pool while ur waiting!

Thank you! I surprised my best friend, her husband, and their 2.5 year old with this trip. They helped me SO much after I became really sick following a surgery (it was 3 years ago and I'm still not fully better). They have become family to me so this year when I received an inheritance from my gpa, I bought a house, paid off my car, and then decided to do something fun; what better way to have fun then treating others to a vacation?! None of them have ever had a real, actual vacation before so to say their excited is an understatement. I can't wait to share pics of the trip with everyone on the DIS.

I can only speak to laundry at Poly. It's credit/debit card only. Note they do NOT take Amex. I 'think' it was $3 for wash, $3 for dry (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this).

Quick side story, I only have Amex and a Mastercard/Debit card. I hardly ever actually use the debit card. My bank did not like the multiple small transactions I was making on it for the laundry machines and flagged it as fraud, shut off my card. Had to call and deal with that during the trip.

I 'think' all of the resorts are card only system but I'm not totally sure on that front.
