Laundry ?

We are staying at the All Star Sports....does anyone know what the laundry facilities are like there and how much it costs to do a load (wash and dry)?

Yes- they are down by the main pool/lobby and it is (was) Like $2.00 per load to wash or dry. I had to run several loads twice in the dryer, so be prepared with a roll of quarters. They do have laundry detergent and fabric softener available for an additional fee. Also- if you have a mid-day break, try to do laundry then as there were many nights when there was not a single washer or dryer available once people starting returning from the parks!

Laundry facilities at the resorts are right by the pool so you can throw in your wash, the kids can swim while you sit by the pool with one of those big,fruity drinks! Not at all like at home. Even doing laundry becomes somewhat magical. (well, not really magical, but not at all painful)

Good to know, we're travelling with a messy lil toddler Is there any way to get quarters, or should I bring some with me?

They have change machines, just make sure your bills aren't curly or they spit them back out .

I wouldn't go too far from the laundry facilities. My stuff was almost dry, and I left it and went to the bathroom. Someone stole my sweatshirts out of the dryer in about 2 minutes!!! They were specially made for Dd and me, Pop warner disabled team,(who would be so awful to steal them?) It was December, cold and rainy and I had to buy sweatshirts at the gift shop. So I will never walk away again!

Be prepared to pay extra to dry your clothes. I had to put them through twice in each machine before they were dried.
