laundry

:)

Me too, but I'm still not doing laundry on vacation.

With all the extras I have to do at home makes it even more important to spend time with my family on vacation and leave household chores for home were they belong.

Plus you say you love washing clothes, :confused3 , not me. I brought laundry detergent with us on our 10 night trip last September. DH shook his head and said, who are you trying to kid, you hate to do laundry at home, do you really think you're going to do it in WDW. He was right, I left the bottle unopened for the next person. :)

Great opinion, glad it works for you!!:thumbsup2

I have (well my mom) done laundry while on vacation. My parents went with us last time and my mom is NOT a pool person so while we swam she washed. I did help some, LOL....I did my dh's "under garments" :) We are going in Sept w/o my parents but we are driving and have the "stow and go" seats in the van. So I have lots of extra packing space. I will plan on not doing laundry this time (6 days at the world). That being said I will bring some detergant and fabric sheets, just incase. With 3 kids and MY dh you never know what will happen!! Also about briginng home dirty laundry, you know their washers and driers never seem to work as well as home. :)

We almost always stay in DVC or an off property timeshare-so we have the washer and dryer right there at our disposal. We do laundry. Doing it doesn't take away from our time in the parks or family time. I throw a load in the washer right before I go to bed and then toss it in the dryer when I wake up, right before I hit the shower. I hate doing laundry, but I figure there are some things that you just never get away from. It's a trade off though-if you don't do it on vacation, you still have to come home and do it. The airlines by us (Spirit and Southwest) seem to be imposing the baggage restrictions in a big way now, which would definitely impact my decision to do laundry while at Disney. I'm not paying $10-$25 extra cause my bag is overweight or because I need an extra bag. The airlines are getting so ridiculous anymore...offering cheap fares, but then they whack you a per bag charge and charge you for meals, snacks and drinks. But anyhoo...that is a whole other subject.

Really, its personal choice. Do what works out best for you. If we didn't have total access to a washer and dryer the way we do, maybe I wouldn't do it.
