The Rose Ceremony is on Aug. 21st, :goodvibes

Packing (and getting the clothes laundered) for a trip is so much more fun than unpacking and washing afterwards.

I hope you enjoy every single moment of your trip. You have waited for this for a long time.

Yeah, doing laundry in preparation for a trip to Disney is fun laundry!

I am going to have lots of fun laundry too. My son returns home today after a 12 day trip to Canada to an ice hockey camp. Lots of smelly, dirty wash for me, but I will be happy to do it. I have missed him terribly.

:lmao:
I can just picture you so happy that your feet barely touch the floor. Just smiling and doing laundry.
I am so very happy for you. :grouphug:

adisneygirl, I know how you feel. :)

i don't mind doing it right now-CUZ THE KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL IN TWO WEEKS!!!

i'm doing massive loads and going through their closets and bureaus so i can pull out the stuff they've outgrown, and designate which are 'school worthy'.

btw any moms of returning campers-make sure to open the suitcase/laundry bag in a well ventilated place :teeth: (dd returned after 2 weeks-i cannot fathom what some of these stains are-and the smell!!!! how a kid that insists on changing multiple times everyday can go to camp and wear the same pair of socks for days on end-while the other clean socks go untouched???? is beyond me).

OOOPS! :rotfl2: August 23 is my nephews bday.

Ok - I'll be with you in spirit on the 21st! :teeth:

I always love doing laundry to prepare for vacation :cool1:

But I hate it when I come home :guilty:

I just finished me "fun" laundry. Now I get to pack it. Have fun Kitty! You'll have a great trip. :cheer2:

I'm doing laundry this morning, too....but it's for another week of work. *sigh* And another week of potty training...ugh!

i avoid alot of laundry when we get home from vacation by packing mostly what the kids are just about outgrown or i know they will not use and will not fit them the next season. my kids WEAR their clothes so i know they are not good to pass on to anyone or donate to chairity-so i take the stuff thats about to get tossed anyway-and toss it at the end of the trip. and although my dh is not fond of it-i've been known to use this to weed out his closet of stuff that should have been tossed but he insists is still totaly useable (20 year old tshirts that havent fit in years, he will never take the time to weed out-faced with wearing them on vacation get tossed pretty quickly :thumbsup2 ).

Doing laundry for a trip is fun and exciting.. but I agree that doing laundry when you get home is a drag.. Have fun..

Doing lots of laundry today too. Mine is probably not as exciting. I call it back-to-school laundry. :lmao:

I'd rather be going on vacation!!!! Never mind. I'm going to do laundry in 45 days. That time, it will be vacation laundry, too. :cheer2:
I also have to vacuum and dust.
Dang, I'm busy. Isn't Sunday supposed to be a day of rest? :teeth:

Have tons of fun on your trip and don't worry about coming home laundry.
:yay:
