Laundry without a Charge Card

When I was in WDW at the beginning of the year I was able to use quarters. Now I understand quarters are not allowed. I don't like to use my charge cards, and especially for charges $2.00 or $3.00 at a time. What other options are available?

CSR had a 2 coin machines still for both washer and dryer.

That was the only option at the BWI in March. It was so much more convenient than getting quarters from the front desk!

If you don't want to use you credit card, you can buy a visa card that works like a debit card. Of course, you'll have to pay to activate the card, usually around $5.

Well, I guess you could haul it down to the lake/river/lagoon and beat it on the rocks....

The laundry room we used in April at POP, also had 2 machines of each that took quarters. DD and I both used credit cards without incident. I liked the new washers. They have a dispenser for the detergent and, after asking a CM who happened to walk in, I jammed my Purex 3 in 1 sheet into it. I was a little concerned but it worked fine.

I much prefer the credit card option. Last time (January) I was at POR they still had coin operation and my quarters jammed in machine, it was a big hassle, had to go to front desk who gave me more quarters then back to laundry room.
