We're staying in a studio at SSR for 16 days this summer. I'm taking along clothes that I prefer not to put into a dryer due to shrinkage. Any tips for hanging things to dry in a studio? I know the towels never seem to dry completely due to the humidity. Thanks

I've found things dry pretty well inside with the AC, but we don't usually visit in the summer so this may not be the case with worse humidity. One thing I would watch out for is hanging things on your balcony. This may have just been the weather that week, but when we stayed at SSR, our balcony was SO windy that I could barely sit out there. Again not sure if that was due to the design of the balconies or location of our room (creating a wind tunnel effect) or whether it was just a windy day. But our clothes would have been long gone if we had put them outside to dry!

We've never had an issue with towels drying inside. If we leave them out on the balcony the humidity is a factor, but not inside in the AC.

I would just hang things on hangers and put them in the closet with an inch or two between them. When I have done this my items have dried quickly.

I don't know what the washer/dryers are like at SSR, but we were at BCV last fall. They had really nice...I think it was LG or GE wash/dryers with a billion settings to choose from. It might be worth it to throw your stuff in on the delicate no-heat cycle.
