Does anyone know how much the small packs of Tide cost in the resort stores? I’m trying to figure it out if I should add it to my Amazon order. TIA

We were just there last week. They had 2 Tide sizes. There was a box that was 1 load for $1.99 and a box that did 4 loads that was $3.99. I bought the 4 load one and that one worked out well for me. Hope that helps.

Get a small box of powder somewhere and take it with you or add it to your Amazon order. I still have a large stash fo the Purex 3 in 1 plus we've accumulated quite a number of individual packets over the past few years. Purex has discontinued their's (and I know some didn't like them) but there are still some companies that make a similar product. Also, if you ask the maid's for extra, you may or may not get charged, though we wouldn't be comfortable doing so given they are supposed to charge you.

All you have to do is stop by the front desk and ask for laundry soap, they will ask how many you need and give them to you for free. We do this every single trip because we stay in studios and they don't leave it in the studios by default, but have even done so the rare times we have been in larger rooms, never had an issue. If you get it from housekeeping, they are supposed to charge you after the first one per trash/towel service or full cleaning, but the front desk isn't supposed to charge you if you ask them.

The nice thing is the soap they give is free of dyes and fragrances, just be aware some resorts give a liquid version, which means if you have any left over you can't bring it in your carry on, but most are powder.

We buy a box of the laundry pods and just bring 4 with us each trip. A box lasts us several years of trips.
Didn't know about getting free from the desk.

I generally by a 6 load bottle at Dollar Tree, and pack in my checked luggage, inside a ziplock, just in case of leakage.

I use the pods at home so it is super easy to pack a few pods for the trip along with dryer sheets. I think probably best put in a checked bag but im sure it could be in as part of your fluid limit.
