Laundry Sheets

Has anyone taken the laundry sheets (purex) on a plane? Where you able to take them on the carry on luggage?

These are not a restricted item, so you will have no issues with these in your carry-on.

We take them all of the time. We also have some dryer sheets packed away too. We don't use these at home, but they are perfect and lightweight for our trips.

Thank you everyone, I have been debating whether to ship stuff down or check a bag with this stuff, but if I can put it all in the carry on that would be great.

Next question, how about pin lanyards with pins?

My DD always took her lanyard with pins in her carry-on (matter of fact, we rarely check luggage).

The only restrictions are the liquids (and obvious dangerous items), but remember medicine doesn't count in that restriction (we bring lots for my son, even full unopened bottles of benedryl).

Last year I took the Purex sheets. Previous years i have taken dry sheets and tide powder in baggies and never had a problem. Since we normally go for 9+ days I use the half way point of our vacation to do some laundry

We (There are 5 of us) know we are going to fly and have 3 options:

1) Each of us take 1 carry-on, plus their personal item-downside-this doesn't leave much space for souviners.

2) A few of us take carry-ons, plus their personal item and check a few bags-downside-we don't have good luck and are afraid our checked luggage will be lost.

3) Each of us take 1 carry-on, plus their personal item and ship some items down-I can ship from work for free, but not sure how to get the package back home after our trip.

What do you think? I know, with the answers I have received this morning from you wonderful people, we can fit all of our stuff in carry-ons, just worried about the souviners we would be bringing home. If we have less room, will spend less money, does this really work?

Those Purex sheets are great, but boy, do they smell strong!!! Just make sure you wrap them up tight or your clothes will all smell like Raw Purex sheets.
