Laundry service?

Does DCL offer laundry or dry cleaning service on the ship? I could not imagine asking my wife to do laundry during our vacation. We both work very hard during the year and only take one vacation per year. It would be worth the cost just to have clean clothes to pack for home instead of tackling a mountain of dirty cloths after a seven night cruise.

Yes they do, laundry and dry cleaning both.

Excellent service.

We don't press anything before we get on the ship..we send out whatever is wrinkled immediately upon receiving our luggage. Just load it all in the bag and hang it on the door. It will be returned to your cabin all pressed and looking great the next day.

It is great to send shorts/tees out so you don't have to pack so much. They do a great job and the prices are very reasonable.

My friend sent quite a bit of her stuff to get it pressed and she was very pleased with the service. There will be a ticket in your stateroom with the prices indicated, and you can have expedited service for an extra charge. They offer laundry services, dry cleaning services, and press-only services.

After seeing the prices I am thinking this may allow me to pack a lot lighter. I always overpack, and regret it. Knowing the prices to have things washed and dry cleaned aren't bad will help me keep it light. It would add up, but in the scheme of things what's another $100 or $150. Vacation time is so valuable, and I will not do my own wash on the trip after all the stories of no machines available. Those prices are quite a bit better then our cleaners at home. (maybe I shouldn't mention that(BG))
