Laundry Room at AKL

Leaving on Friday for our first trip to AKL. Since we'll be there for 8 nights, I know I'll need to do laundry while there.

Can someone describe the laundry room and its location? Is it close to the pool so that I can relax poolside while the clothes are washing and drying?

We found the laundry room at AKL very convenient. Yes, it is near the pool and the fast food court. The room itself is very nice. There is a sitting area with a TV and then through a door you will find plenty of washers/dryers (about 8-10 each if I remember). Hope this helps.

Does anyone know how the laundry area is at POFQ?

There is also at least one other laundry room on the trail opposite the pool area. (maybe ostrich)?

Just to add to all of the above, it is $2 per load for the washers and dryers. I brought my own detergent and dryer sheets to save a little $.
Another lady who was in there while I was had to move some peoples clothes out of a washer because they were all full and someone had left their stuff unattended for a long time, and was holding up the washers. The washers only took about 10-15 min. for the cyclye, but the dryers were more like 45 min. to an hour.

OMG! I didn't know there was a laundry room near the pool. I trucked our laundry over to the room in Kudu Trail on the second floor. Nice, but quite a walk!

The laundry is in a building right behind the pool bar, next to the jacuzzi. Very nice as well. Plenty of dryers and washers. There isn't any place to sit inside the building, but there are a couple of benches outside.

When we stayed at POFQ, we got room 5106 which is right across from the laundry room and pool area.
