Laundry question?

Are there washer and dryer facilities at the resorts and if so, how much per load?

There are washers and dryers at all resorts usually, but not always, near the pools. IIRC they are $2 per load and they have change machines in the room. I usually bring powdered soap and dryer sheets with me. There is a new product around here called "Purex® Complete 3-in-1™ Laundry Sheets" that is laundry detergent and softener/ant static sheet all in one thick sheet: http://www.purex.com/purex-3-in-1/product . I was thinking that would be perfect for our next trip!

We always bring a roll of $25 in quarters with us on vacation. We use it for pressing pennies, tolls and most importantly laundry. I'm packing less this year because I specifically plan to do laundry while there. We've always done this.

Since we go to WalMart as soon as our plane lands to pick up food supplies for the room, we usually grab a small thing of detergent and dryer sheets. But I plan to try out these 3-in-1 sheets myself. Hopefully they will work as good as advertised.

We stay at the Value resorts and noticed that the laundry rooms are usually by the pools. I'll usually do laundry when we have about 3 days of vacation left and the kids are swimming at the pool.
