Laundry Question at Pop

I just couldn't bring myself to read thru all of the 450 posts on the Pop thread. Can someone tell me how much the laundry detergent costs, as well as the washers and dryers.

Unfortunetly, I don't have exact prices. However, it's approx $2 to wash, and $2 to dry. (30-45 mins)

Single sized detergent and fabric softener is available through vending machines, for a couple bucks I'm sure. Change machines are present, and I think the vending machines (and possible the washers/dryers) might be able to accept credit cards. (I know the first floor vending machines can)

Sorry, I don't know the price either. When we were there in December (nothing like that brand new resort smell!!), I brought some Tide tablets and dryer sheets with me. They took up little space and very handy. I did laundry one night at about 11 pm. Nice facilities.

dznyacct, I have looked in at least 4 stores in order to find some kind of tablets to bring with me. I use to see Wisk tablets, but do you think I can find any when I need them !

I found them by accident at Walmart in the Health and Beauty section where the travel sized toiletries are.

You could always stop at the laudromat at home and buy some of the mini soap they have in the machines. there.

I wasn't able to find the tablets as easily as I used to be able to fine them. I did eventually, though.

I just double bag a gallon size zip lock and throw some of my powder detergent in the bag. Never had problems with it. I would rather do that than pay much more for the tablets.

and the answer is:

$2.00 ea for a washer
$2.00 ea for a dryer

Each approx 1/2 worth of wash and dry time. The detergent is Tide and Cheer, for $1.00 per box. There is also Downy and something else - just can't remember.

The washers and dryers are by the pools. You will need your room key to get in to the area.
