Laundry on the Magic

sailing December 23 on a 4 night in the Magic. Spending 3 nights in ft lauderdale prior. Really don't want to pack that much so I debating laundry. Here are my options....

Go to a local laundromat embarkation morning....risky since I don't know what I could encounter. My hotel does not have laundry.
As soon as I board, go directly to the laundry room...I have a PAT of 11am. Will the laundry room be open and accessible?
Or finally, have the ship service do my laundry. If I give it to my steward that evening, what is the earliest I can expect it back?

I'd probably toss it in the washer and do it myself. But you can certainly send it out. I believe it returns in 24 hours.

No. They are located down the passageways where the rooms are. No access to stateroom hallways before 1:30 usually.

DCL can get your clothes done in 2 hours but I think you pay double the price.

I would throw it in the washer before dinner/show, then in dryer between dinner/ show on the first night.

The last two times I have sailed the laundry rooms did not open until 6:00pm on embarkation day.

Same day service is 50% cost of dry cleaning cost added.

3 hour service is 100%.

Did the Magic two weeks ago. Got our suitcases round 5.00 pm. Before the first show the laundry was clean, during the show in the dryer en folded before late diner. Took some planning and work.
