I am so upset... my husband decided to kindly do some laundry when I was out Sunday... and washed my brand new top that I bought whilst in the USA. I have lost 5 and a half stone recently, so I dont actually have many clothes that fit me and Im loathed to buy too many more as I am still shrinking out of them!

I bought a gorgeous cami top in a lovely grey colour which had sparkly bits dotted over the front.. and I felt really good in it. It was exactly the right size and really pretty.... and my husband put it in the tumble dryer! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Anyway I removed it from the tumble dryer last night and every single sparkly bit has come off it leaving a nice dark grey glue mark on the top where each one was! :( :(
very sad!

Oops

Glad that we do not have a tumble dryer, so I could not make such a mistake ;)

 Oh what a shame

Thankfully I won't have this problem, as I'd have to draw hubby a diagram on how to find the washing machine and drier :rotfl2:

Oh dear, good excuse to go back & get another one though:thumbsup2

When in hospital having DS (now 18) I asked DH to put some nighties in the washing machine for me. When I got home they were still in the washing machine, but I had hoped he'd have washed them too!

Sorry to hear about your top Sammie - men!

By the way - well done on the weight loss - that's fantastic!

Well done on the weight loss! Sometimes you can get nice sparkly party stuff on mandmdirect - I get trainers for DS(15) from there, some great bargains!

With husbands you do have to state the obvious - like, can you get dinner started does NOT mean "turn the oven on when you get in and I'll sort everything out when I get home":lmao:

oh, i bet you could have really wounded him at the time ;)

, good excuse to go shopping if you ask me...and HE is buying :thumbsup2

Well done on your weight loss. That's amazing!

Sorry about your top. Maybe you could sew on some sequins where the gluey blobs are? Or you could get some of those stick on jewels suitable for clothing.

Failing that, I think you should tell your DH he will just have to take you back to Florida to get another one. :thumbsup2
