Is there only 1 Laundry location at POFQ?
Where?
If only 1 laundry is there plenty enough Washers & Dryers?

Hey there. The laundry is right by the pool. There are maybe a dozen washers and dryers. I went twice during our stay and didn't have any problems. If I remember correctly, it was busier during the evenings. I think the washers were $2 a load. Have fun!

I did laundry at POFQ when we stayed last year and it was right by the pool. I had no problems getting a washer and 2 dryers. I had to do 2 cycles of drying though. I even walked off for about 30 minutes and went to the gift shop and to refill my mug and our stuff was fine. I loved this resort! The laundry area was not crowded at all. I would say that there are more dryers than washers though. At least it seemed that way.

Do they have laundry detergent that you can buy or do I need to bring some with me?

I think I would bring some in a baggy. It is very expensive- like $2 or $3 per load and I have run into the situation where they were out. I believe I was told they have a vendor to fill them up, so I had to wait and go to another area of the resort we were at to get some detergent.

laundry on vacation is a MUST for us too, I now take 2 rolls of quarters w/ us, getting quarters is crazy sometimes, learned my lesson. I aso purchase small containers of the travel size detergent and supplies. I love my collapseable laundry big and mesh bags. We just throw our dirty laundry in it daily and wisk it off to the pool and laundry. I fold it and put it in the mesh bags...

You can buy detergent and such there, but I wouldn't. I bought a small thing of Tide at Target that did like 4 loads and you can take your own fabric softner sheets. It is expensive if you buy it there.

I agree- I would also bring it with you. I just pre-measure and put one load worth of detergent in a small ziploc bag and bring as many as I need.

The laundry is pretty easy to find since its centrally located, but sometimes it helps to have a photo.

I also bring our own detergent, fabric softeners and two rolls of quarters. We've usually gone in the middle of the afternoon and have not yet had a problem getting two washers and dryers.

I did our laundry while we were at the pool. It wasn't crowded, but it was expensive if you have to buy detergent and run everything through the dryer twice.

This year I just bought us all more underwear.

Thanks for all the Help!! Yes, I always bring my own laundry Detergent
because we use the FREE & CLEAR no perfume or dyes.
I have brought the 2x concentrated in small bottle and measure spoon.
Also my own Dryer Sheets and Quarters (enough for a few loads to make it thru). We always go in Sept. and sweat so much we have to wash because we go thru the clothes so quickly. The Laundry Area looks nice in the pictures--I'll be in there whenever everyone is swimming early or whenever
I get enough time.
Can't wait to stay a POFQ!!:yay:
