Does anyone know about this? I read somewhere about packets of laundry soap (dryer sheets?) that were easily packable. Anyone have a name or where I can buy this? We leave in 14 days, and I always end up paying too much for the soap at the Poly. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!:santa:

I found liquid Tide packets at Target before our trip. I packed them in a large ziplock back along with a few dryer sheets and a roll of quarters. I would just take this bag with me to the laundry room and watch as other people scrambled for quarters when the change machine was empty!

If you buy liquid detergent packets, just be sure to pack them in your checked luggage.

What I do is fill the snack size ziloc bags with powder detergent. Each one is big enough to hold a load's worth of detergent. I pack the little ziplocs in a gallon size ziploc and throw in some fabric softener sheets.

Makes it really easy for laundry!

:santa: I purchased travel lotion bottles and filled them with detergent. We only like ERA detergent and with the concentrated version, I can get enough for 5 loads in one bottle. I just shipped a box of toiletries and clothes down to the resort for our trip, and double bagged the lotion bottle and taped it closed just to be sure. I also threw in dryer sheets.

I found individual liquid Tide packets at Target, I think. They were fairly flat - not in a little bottle or anything. They packed very easily - I just put them in a ziplock bag.

I have seen Dropps laundry detergent mentioned here and on another site. They are supposed to be available at Walmart and Target but I haven't found the product at either store in my area. Perhaps it's offered elsewhere. I have also seen the Tide packets in the section of Target where all the little travel size toiletries and such are sold. They are about $1 a piece. This year, I am trying to minimize what we pack as much as possible and since we will have a rental car while at WDW, we will just stop at a local store and pick up what we need.

Quarters for those machines fit nicely in M & M tubes... and you get to eat M & M's in order to empty the tubes :thumbsup2 Have a great trip!
