Where is the laundry facilities at the Boardwalk. We're staying at the BWI the end of April.

I looked at the map on this site, but it did not mention the laundry.

Is it near the quiet pool like all the other resorts?

Thanks
:flower:

It is on the ground floor...exit the elevators make a hard right down the hallway...it is the 2nd/3rd door on the left...

I did laundry the last two trips at BWI but it was on the 3rd floor in a dingy laundry room. That is one thing I am looking forward to at YC, doing laundry by the pool!

I was at the BWI a couple of years ago and when we did laundry we noticed that the dryers really didn't work well. We were running out of time because we wanted to go to the main theme pool (Kiesters Coaster I think?). We looked on our resort map and fould another laundry room that was technically in the BWV section but was very near the main pool. It was on the ground floor and we were able to enjoy the pool and easily do the laundry. An added bonus was that both the washers and dryers were free and the dryers worked perfectly. There were no signs that said anything about this only being for BWV guests so I felt that as a guest of BWI I was entitled to use the laundry. Hope this helps.

Sorry Heather360 it is for DVC owners/those staying at BWV...please don't suggest this to others...we do have to pay in the form of annual fees.

canwegosoon, I have to disagree with you. I was a boardwalk guest using boardwalk facilities. If inn guests were not allowed to use certain laundry rooms at the resort a sign would have been posted. Signs are posted at the resort pools to prohibit pool hopping for non-resort guests. If a sign had been posted or any indication made that this was just for villa guests I would have respected it. The themed pool is in the villa section but both inn and villa guests use it. The laundry room room near the theme pool was on the map I was given at check in.

I assume the BWV DVC members will pursue this and make sure signs are posted. But, you knew the laundry was in the BCV section, and you noticed that it was free, as opposed to the pay laundry you were using previously. Why would you now protest canwegosoon's notice that, indeed, this particular laundry is a DVC privilege?
