I don't know where else to post this so I'm posting it here.
I wanted a Disney World 2007 calander so I did an internet search and www.laughingplacestore.com came up. GREAT! So I ordered it from that site on 12/26/06 and I have yet to receive it. I've written 3 e-mails to their "customer service department" (one on Monday, one Tuesday and one today) called once to the number they gave me on my confirmation print out and also faxed my concerns to their provided fax number. I STILL haven't received a response. What's bothering me is that my debit card was debited as soon as I placed the order. Has anyone else ever ordered from this place?? No one is calling me, e-mailing me, etc... I don't even know what the next step would be. Yeah, it was only $19, but I paid $19 and didn't get what I paid for! They are apparently based out of California because the phone number I called is a 714 area code.

It has been 10 working days and two of those days were holidays (New Years and President Fords day of morning) so that makes it 8, weekends dont count especially if they ship UPS. They probably did not ship it out on the 27th. Even though that does seem like a long time I think I would give it a two more days then I would call the bank to see about having the money refunded.

Thanks, I'm just angry that they apparently do not have good customer service. A quick e-mail would be nice telling me that my order is in the process of being mailed. Especially since I sent 3 e-mails.

I'm sorry they couldn't get your poster for you, but I just wanted to let you know that I ordered a lanyard from them and it took about 2 and a half weeks for it to come in. I don't think they have everything on their website in stock - I think they actually wait for you to place an order and then they go to the parks and purchase the item(s). I would have no problems ordering from them again.

DO NOT order from them. One they are a ripoff and two you wait forever. i ordered a dvd set. For almost $100and it is soobad some guy walking around the park with a camera for 4hours. Took a month and a half to receive that junk.

Are you talking about the Relive the Magic DVD set?? Because if you are, that's what it is... A guy walking around taking videos of all of Disney... But I am annoyed with this place anyway, they weren't going to tell me it wasn't available, the only reason they did was cause I wrote 3 e-mails, left a message and also a fax!! I hope they don't forget to refund my money!

I have had 3 people tell me to check out laughing place.com because it looked like they had great deals...but none of them bought anything...I am going to WDW in AUgust for my sis in law 50th bd ...and thought it would be good to get the stuff at laughing place..but I am not going to do it now...thanx for sharing that info!!! I just want to update everyone. I was telling this story to my sisters boyfriend and he said THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM!!! So just beware!

Oh this place is horrible. I posted back in December about the same problem. I ordered something and gave them weeks before I started calling and e-mailing with NO response at all. They charge you immediately too. Finally after I threatened to start calling the Better Business Bureau and start telling everyone on the boards my story they called me back and were all sweet as pie, Gosh we don't know what you're so upset about, your item shipped TODAY. All toll the whole event took about 4 1/2 weeks. Ridiculous. I probably would not have even minded a delay if they had simply communicated the problem to me. Never Again!

laughingplace as a whole is terrible; yes, they have up-to-the-minute news, but I've e-mailed them a number of times before, and they do not respond to e-mails. I get the feeling that the guys behind the site loved Eisner lol. If you look around, you do get that feeling. Extremely rose-colored.

I was just browsing the site and was wondering if you folks realized that they have a 100% mark up on every item I looked at. Disney does have a mail order department. You can look them up on their website. All that they charge extra is shipping.
