Latisse - anyone use this, or buy online?

I really want some nice eyelashes!
I know somebody who has glaucoma, and they use the similar drug in glaucoma eye drops, and OMG, you should see their lashes.

Even though this is RX, I do see a few online pharmacies, and they sell this at a much discounted price. Latisse is expensive!

Has anyone used this?

Is this a serious post or are you just seeing if anyone is paying attention? Are you crazy, there is a reason certain medication is precription only, there could be side effects or using something from some online pharmacy without a prescription well you could very well end up blind, but you might have nice eyelashes so go for it.

I've been using it for years. I used to get it from my plastic surgeon at around $120.00 a bottle, but now I get it online for $30.00. It works great - I haven't had any issues with it.

OMG, when I saw what that similar glaucoma med did for that person's eyelashes!!!!
they do have light skin and med-blue eyes, and thankfully, they have not experienced any of the discoloration/darkening. My eyes are a med. brown. So, I am not so worried about that for me.

Kim, can you send me a PM, if possible, and let me know where you are ordering from?
Did you have to foward your prescription from your local doctor?
And, if you have used this for a length of time, did you experience the 'fall-out' issue, like when all of the great new lashes hit the end of their growth cycle and shedded? Thanks!!!

And, yes, you do have to be very careful online pharmacies.
But, especially in todays market with the costs of drugs. There are online pharmacies out there who do this.
You answer some simple questions, and they have somebody on staff who is legally qualified to prescribe the meds.

(I think men use this route often for those little blue pills!!!!)

You can get the same results from the now OTC lash growers. I've used Rimmel London (cheapest) and had good results.

I have used Latisse for a few years. I get it when I'm in Mexico (frequent cruise port) - for $50/bottle. My eyes are the same color as when I started, except with longer lashes!

I've used RapidLash for years with good result. I think it does darken my lash line a bit but have dark brown eyes and lashes.

(NOTE to laura, these are drugs generally prescribed by eye doctors. But, ANY doctor can give you a prescription. When one realizes that they want $150.00 for the stuff, that you can get for a small fraction of that price online... from some reputable places that have been doing this for years/decades... well, just sayin'.... The pharmaceutical industry in this country and their confiscatory 'price controls' are the issue.)

I have been using the Latisse product, from online, recommended by the one poster here.
They have used this, long term, and have been happy.
I could have ordered the actual Latisse, but even online, it is twice as much as this one.
Same ingredient.

It has only been two-three weeks, so I am not sure yet what kind of results I will get.
But, so far so good!

My friend with the awesome lashes that they got from their Glaucoma medication, they are fair, and have blue eyes.
Luckily they have not had any color change or darkening, at all.
I promise you that they would be looking for other options if they were to loose their blue eyes!

I use Latisse. It took 3-4 months at first to see the real results. I got a prescription from a doctor who told me that the only known cases of eye-color change were in patients using for glaucoma where it is actually dropped into the eye. No known cases when used as directed for cosmetic reasons (you just brush it on lid along lash-line).

I think I would go with an online order for cosmetic uses, but might not if I was actually dropping it in my eye for glaucoma treatment.

Ulta sells an eyelash and eyebrow growth serum. Never tried it, but it's close to $100.

I tried an over the counter lash growth serum a while back. I purchased it online and used it religiously, but didn't have any noticeable changes. Recently, I tried eyelash extensions for the first time - the initial set can be expensive, but the fills/touch ups are affordable. You also don't need to use mascara with them!

I too have been looking for a reputable online resource to purchase Latisse. I've used it for past 2 years with excellent results.

I use it. I've bought it online, at a dermatologist & at a spa. A trick is to put the drop in the lid and then put the brush in the lid to get the medication, saves a ton of product. I use 1 drop, dip the brush in the lid, and brush it on both eyes.

I think it works well, I use it in spurts, every couple of days for a week or two and then take a few weeks off. My eyelids will get a bit brownish (it's only noticable to me) but it goes away the day I stop. I have fair skin and blue eyes. My eye color has been normal, I've probably been using it for 3 years.

Yes, this is how I do it!
I went to a make-up beauty supply store and got a nice eyeliner brush.
The ones you get with the product are just a total joke.
One drop in the lid, apply... I even swipe some across the middle of my eyebrows.

I have also seen it recommended to buy packages of little disposable eyeliner type brushes. They have been available on eBay for pretty cheap.

This is the generic version.
You can get the true 'Latisse' online for much cheaper than pharmacy type prices.
Just do some searches.
But, this is very cheap.

Slowly but surely, I am seeing better lashes!

I may start to pay more for the real 'Latisse', online, if I keep using this.
If you use it sparingly, the method we describe, the little bottle lasts a long time.
