Latex at a GayDays?

OK, here's a minefield question. I hang with a fun crowd. There has been talk about doing a trip to WDW together during GayDays. I want to suggest that I could make this happen by putting us up with DVC points. I'm hesitating, however, because I know that at least one of my friends has in mind wearing latex and related sorts of apparel to the parks. I don't even know if this would get past WDW security, and beyond that, I'm wondering exactly how out of place this would be among the GayDays crowd. I get that it is not the norm--but does anyone really do things like that?

Unless you're talking full-scale Folsom Fair bondage gear - gags and handcuffs and etc - or chaps-and-a-jockstrap, I doubt there would be an issue with getting into the parks, and certainly not with the resort. However, it would be ridiculously outre, not to mention horrifically uncomfortable (and potentially hazardous) in Orlando summer heat. In all my years at GayDays, I've never seen anyone attempt full-scale gear - though I've seen boys in collars, for sure.

As the previous poster said, I can't imagine how uncomfortable that would be in the heat and humidity. For several years I saw a couple in tight, red, vinyl or leather short shorts. While they had the bodies for it, all I could really think of was how very uncomfortable they had to have been.

Yeah, I don't know exactly what she has in mind-- she has latex for every occasion, really. I guess we need to talk about this. Maybe we can bargain down to saving it for after dark.

I did have a friend years and years ago who showed me a picture of himself at GayDays in a leather pride kilt. But given the discussion on Disboards, I've always figured he was something of an outlier.

This 100% I could not imagine wearing latex in June... The sheer heat and humidity would not make for comfortable wear at all. We've been to a couple gay days with our friends to show our support and we're hot enough wearing a red-shirt in the sun LOL
