My family will be at Disneyland this Friday.

Can anyone tell me the latest wait times for Radiator Springs Racers?

We hope to be there when the park opens and go directly to get FPs for Racers. Is that a doable plan?

I moved to Georgia in 2000 and haven't been to the park since then.

Thanks!

When you say "when the park opens" do you mean to the general public? This Friday is DCA's EMH morning, so guests of the DLH/GCH/PPI can get in starting an hour before the general public. They do not start distributing FPs until the park opens to the public, so yes, you should be fine to get FPs as soon as the park opens. Just note that if RSR is down or not yet open, they will not distribute FPs.

FPs for RSR is a very doable plan. Especially if you are there before rope drop. The line for FP's in the early morning can get pretty long, but it moves fast and they have lots of fastpasses. I once lined up for fastpasses 2 hours after rope drop and still got a FP (albeit it was for later that night).

Good luck!

Thanks, yes, at 8:00 a.m. Sounds like maybe I can wait in line :rolleyes1 while DH and son explore.

I appreciate the info!

We just returned and hit rope drop on two mornings at DCA. Neither was an EMH day. The first day we planned to go right to RSR but they announced while we were waiting that it was not going to be open on time. So, we headed to Toy Story and got on right away. Not sure when RSR opened but we did everything we wanted to in the Paradise Pier area and then I headed to get a FP for RSR - our return time was 1:30pm. This was probably about 9:30 or so. Standby wait times usually hovered around 60-90 minutes all day. I didn't wait at all to get the RSR FP.

On our second day, we decided to head to Toy Story again since it doesn't offer FP and get a FP for RSR at night (our kids wanted to ride at night). We only had a short to do list at DCA and then planned to hop over to DL. When we left to go to DL around 10am, RSR FP's were only at about 5pm so we just decided to skip the FP and we rode single rider that evening (rather then having to walk back over to DCA to get a FP). I think they ran out on both days by 11am.

It is a great ride - have fun!

Update for the OP, we went yesterday. Standby line was 75 minutes in the evening. Went quickly and we rode right at dusk......awesome time to ride, by the way.

Do CMs lead guests in the morning to RSR to avoid running etc.?

What if you get FPs first and then try to get into the standby line, will standby directly be a long wait because everyone wants to ride?

Can you already get FP during EMH?

We were there earlier in the week. Yes, there are CMs directing the flow of traffic at rope drop. It was all very orderly when we were there.
FP lines move very quickly. I didn't wait more then 10 minutes. They said they issue about 1,000 for each hour. It did sell out by 11 both days we were there.
The FP is closed until normal park hours.
By early evening the single rider line was longer than normal line.
