Surgery (at least the first one
) is scheduled for this Monday. He needs to be in admitting at 6:15 AM and surgery is set for 7:15 am. I called them (the message you get telling you what time to show up is done via recorded message) and asked how long the the doctor had booked the O.R. for. Only 90 minutes.............in that time, they will do a radical tonsillectomy, an endoscopy to have a GOOD look around to make sure everything is clear in there, then they will insert the feeding tube (just in case he needs it anytime during the upcoming treatments). If all goes well, he'll be home by lunch!
Keep your fingers, toes, eyes.....anything you can possibly crossed for luck. Any extra pixie dust you have floating around, not doing anything, will be greatly appreciated!
