Latest to change BOG lunch order?

I have searched but cannot find this answer. I know you can make your BOG lunch selections 30 days out. When is the latest you can pre-order to avoid the kiosk lines? Also, I can you usually order on the app? My app says to order go to the WDW website. Thanks!

I've placed my order as late as while standing in line to check in at my ADR time. I've also been able to alter my order at the register when paying.

I've never had the preorder option show up on the app.

Yes, you still check in for your ADR. They'll give you a rose and send you into the castle directing you where to go so you can avoid the long line of people waiting to order. There are a couple CMs who will review your order with you and take payment. The line for this has been very short each time we've been.

I had trouble using the app to order so I did it on the website using my laptop the night before. The next morning my grandson wanted to change his order but I wasn't able to do it. So we asked the CM to change it when we got there.

The next time I wanted to make a change to a reservation I just logged into the website on my phone instead of the app
