On a night that DCA closes at 6 p.m.... what is the latest dinner seating for Ariel's grotto? I'm assuming people are still eating after the official park closing.

Another question.... looking at the September calendar for DL, it looks like the Hillbillies show at the Golden Horseshoe runs more over the dinner hour (as opposed to over lunch). Is this typical for this time of year? I'm going in early Nov and would like to catch the show... just trying to plan which meal to aim for.

Thank you, thank you for your insights!!!!! :flower3:

We are going on a Friday when DCA closes at 8 pm and I was told the latest was 730 pm. They also said they won't kick you out at 8 pm and you can finish your meal in peace. :-) I made 7 pm reservations -- just so we didn't feel rushed.

So do you think if I make a 5:00 p.m. or 5:15 p.m. ressie at Ariels there will still be lots of princesses?

We were told the same thing when I called to make our reservations for a week from today.

No matter when you eat there you will get to see 5 Princesses, Ariel at the bottom of the stairs and 4 others who visit your table. I don't know what the last seating would be, nor do I know the answer to the Billy Hill question, sorry.

Looks like the Billy Hill show has one showing before noon and the rest between 1 and 5:15 when we are there. You don't have to eat, but you can. Also you can bring in outside food. This is pretty typical hours I believe. We will probably do a late lunch/early dinner for this one, or just go to relax and maybe enjoy the show.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I will plan around 4:50 for dinner at Ariel's and dinner for Hillbillies.

If you are at an Ariel's Grotto seating where your meal completes after park closing hours, some of the CMs escort you to the exit - an extra chance to spend time with some very friendly people. Been there, done that.
