Latest ME Bus to MCO

We are going to be spending out last night of our vacation at the Hyatt in MCO, with a flight home the next morning.

We are using ME and have our tickets and our tags for the trip to Saratoga Springs, but because we are not flying out the night we are leaving Disney we need to call a few days before our departure date to make a reservation for the trip back to MCO.

My question is, what is the latest bus we can get back to MCO? We have reservations for Ragland Road at 6pm and I am not sure if I should change it to an earlier time. Catching the bus is the priority, but I wasn't sure how late they run. I know some airports have late night or all night flights, but I wasn't sure if MCO was one of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They will transport you 3 hours before you tell them your departing flight time. So, you can tell them your plane leaves at 1am, and they'll pick you up at 10pm.

...as long as there is an actual flight leaving then. You don't tell them a departure time, you give them a flight number.

If it were me, I'd be inclined to take a taxi back. Yes, you will have to pay for it, but it will be much simpler. You can do whatever you want in DTD, etc. and just head back when you feel like it, rather than be on a schedule.

It's been many years now, but I asked DME for a pickup at around 10:00 p.m. from our WDW resort because we would be staying at the airport Hyatt and flying out early the next morning.

No problem, the DME agent replied. Just don't miss the pick-up, she advised, because there probably would be no later DME departure from our resort after that.

I did not have to pretend I was flying somewhere at 1:00 a.m.

The important thing is that I spoke with Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 1-866-599-0951 (not with Central Reservations or DVC Member Services).

Epilogue: My plans changed. I ended up canceling the Hyatt reservation and the late-nught DME reservation. So I can't tell you how it all worked out.
