Latest disembarkation time??

I need to coordinate a pick-up time on disembarkation day. My parents will be picking us up and they live about 2 hours from the port. What is the latest time they could pick us up? How have others coordinated a pick-up? Worst case scenario: Is there any place to wait for them if they are delayed due to bad traffic and they kick us off and it is raining ? Any suggestions are appreciated.
