Latest date to add/cancel DDP?

When is the latest time I can add the DP to our reservation? as we haven't done it yet and are still not decided.

We are splitting our stay between VWL and AKV and we're thinking of adding the DDP for the first week at VWL, depending if we like it we might want it for the second week.

So when is the latest you can book this? and when would the latest you can cancel it?

I think you'll need to add it at least a few days before. And it is probably the same for cancelling it. It must be done through MS.

You will be under the 2008 rules for DDP, though. No tip included and no dessert included. Or is it no appetizer included? All I know is that it was too much food for us. Did it once, that was enough.

With the no appetizer next year we're not sure if it's really worth it, we don't usually eat desert either. That's why we are undecided.

I am thinking we will add it for both of the hotels and try the DP for the first week and if we decide it's not worth it then cancel the second week. But that would depend on how many days before we have to cancel?

Call MS and ask - there have been varying reports/opinions on this.

If it were me, I'd be sure to add or cancel before the DVC reservations are downloaded to the resort. That's 3 -4 days ahead of time.
