Hi there, we've actually skipped WDW the last couple years and been doing DL and some international trips. This year we're excited to have two trips planned to WDW! But I feel I'm all out of touch with planning since it has changed a bunch!

Looking for a selection of "make new friends and keep the old" where we visit some of our old favorites while mixing in some must-dos that are newer. Here's what I have booked for an upcoming 7d trip staying at the Poly. We are on the DxDDP and plan to mostly do early lunch and signature dinner at TSs every day.

Classic lunches: CRT, Kona Cafe, Via Napoli, Beaches and Cream
New lunches: CG Brunch at the Top, Skipper Canteen, Satu'li Canteen
Classic dinners: 'Ohana, Narcoossee's, Le Cellier, 50s Prime Time
New dinners: Tiffins (w/RoL pkg), Boathouse, Morimoto Asia

Anything we're missing (oh, we're not BoG fans)? I hear lots of mentions of Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, Maria and Enzo's, Homecomin', Paddlefish, Edison, D-Luxe Burger but we just don't have enough meals for all of those!

Your list has a lot of great places! We're trying two of those new spots, Skipper Canteen and Satu'li Canteen next week.

Also curious to hear about Paddlefish and Homecomin. :)

Homecomin is worth it just for the appetizers --fried green tomatoes(drool)....and the hummingbird cake is amazing!

I love Homecomin'!! I'm so upset we don't have time for DTD on our upcoming trip.. mostly because I won't be able to eat there :rotfl:I'd choose it over the Boathouse every single time. We were not impressed with our meal there. But I'm from SC and a big sucker for good Southern comfort food :cloud9:

Definitely keep Tiffins.. it's probably my favorite signature right now. And I really liked the Skipper Canteen given the current lack of great TS options in the MK (we aren't BOG fans either)

Honestly, I wouldn't waste a Deluxe Dining Plan credit on quick service. We ate at the canteen in Pandora during the AP previews and it was just okay. I would've much rather went to Tusker House if we were using a dining plan credit.

Your list looks really similar to ours!! CG Brunch will be new to us too!

Kona Cafe used to be a consistent favorite that I did every trip, but I don't care at all for their new menus. I'd ditch the Kona Cafe lunch and replace it with Edison.

I can't recommend Homecoming enough! I fell in love with their watermelon moonshine mash, fried chicken and doughnuts, and hummingbird cake... easily one of the best dishes I've ever had on Disney property! :lovestruc

My husband is a HUGE fan of D-Luxe burger - he rants and raves about it all the time. We both love STK (if you're a fan of steaks, they're second to none) and go whenever we have the opportunity or excuse to.

Regardless of where you choose, have a fun vacation!

So much food, so little time.

Ohana & Le Cellier would be my 'weak links' on your list. But you're staying at Polynesian, so Ohana makes sense under that condition.

Monsieur Paul is a 'better' option for DxDP near/in Epcot than Le Cellier. So too are Flying Fish & Yachtsman.

And maybe Trattoria al Forno for breakfast instead of 50's Prime Time - if food matters. But the ambiance at 50's is a tipping point for many families, and that's simply a personal choice. Also, then you'd need to get to Al Forno from Polynesian and that may not be worth the trouble.

Otherwise, we're splitting the proverbial hair (i.e., we preferred our meal at Homecomin' versus Boathouse - plenty of folks will say the opposite).

Your list looks very good (and similar to my own).

I think your list looks great! We go fairly often and have eaten at all of these places and I'm going to suggest considering Monsieur Paul over Le Cellier. MP is the better signature in EP, IMHO. Also, perhaps consider Artist Point which was, by far, the best meal we've had in WDW in a very long time.

Such great ideas! I definitely need to consider Monsieur Paul and Homecomin' since so many of you recommended those! I used to work at the Poly and we are staying there so I will keep 'Ohana and Kona but ... 50s Prime Time was just to have a TS dinner in Studios. Any better ideas there?
