Later WOC

We are considering not even trying to go to the 9:00 WOC. Hoping for a few less people at 10:15. Can you request the later show at the FP distribution or do you have to take whichever show they are distributing at the time?
What's a good time to try for them if we know we want the 10:15?

Friends have told me that they take whatever FP is being given out, then ask the CM to change it for the later show. From what I understand, you will be given a yellow FP in exchange. So if blue is really important to you, this may not work out.

Is blue the best section and yellow the worst? We are newbies in DLR.

Both sections have good viewing spots. Yellow is the bigger section (right of center to the outer right edge facing the bay) and blue covers the bridge and the left of center area. Read the first post of the WOC Superthread to understand the map and where the good viewing spots are in both sections. Read the last few pages of the superthread for recent updates, especially since the current show, WOC Celebrate! is new. People have told me that, whereas they liked being up front for the old show, they now prefer being a little further back for the new show to get the big picture. The crucial point (!!) to good viewing for WOC is not what color section you are in, but how much time you are willing to invest in getting good spots. For shorter people this is a bigger issue. For taller people, not so much.

There is a disabled viewing section in all FP areas. The superthread may discuss this or you can ask a CM when you get in line for the show.
