For those who have had later breakfast ADRs, did you feel rushed to make way for the lunch crowds? Was the food (especially if a buffet) not as fresh, updated...if a character meal, were the characters rushing, etc...

If you prefer one or the other (early/late Breakfast Ressies), why?

This is how we usually do breakfast, in order to save money by skipping lunch. We have always found the food to be fresh and plentiful. We have never felt rushed with our meal. We did find the character interaction at Chef Mickey to be lacking, but I think this is because we were in the small seating area on the right, instead of the main dining area. 1900 Park Fare and Akershaus, we felt the characters gave us plenty of time and attention.

We did a 10:30 am at CP last trip and it was lovely! Not too crowded, still great and warm food, and possibly the best server we have ever had!!!

Akershaus is good for a late breakfast, we've done it twice there and the food was not only fresh, but there were less people and we got more character interaction. We were quite pleased both times.
I didn't care for chef mickey's as a late breakfast either!!! I was very dissapointed when we left after we spent all the $$$- the food was lacking, not as fresh- and even though we were sitting in the main area we watched mickey talking to another employee and not conversing with the guests. We weren't pleased.
Another good late breakfast one is Crystal Palace. They do well with keeping food fresh, hot and yummy! The character interaction was best durring late breakfast.

Good to hear, thanks! I am sure it happens from time to time, but I would hope the majority of time this is a positive experience.

We are early risers, but some mornings we prefer to lounge and make a small breakfast at our hotel instead of rushing out for an early breakfast ADR--especially if we had a later dinner the night before.

We have a 9:50 breakfast at Akershus--fingers crossed!

We had a later breakfast at CM back in April -but- we went as walk ins and waited almost a half hour, so I can't really complain. Very crowded. Madness, actually :crazy2: but one of the best experiences for our toddlers :lovestruc

I am hoping to snag a CP res for next week:wizard:
