Later AR times??

I currently have a 4:20 AR for Mama Melrose on 8/27/05. Has anyone been able to get a later time (say 6:00)?? The past few trips I called 30 days and was able to get 6:00, but not this time. Fantasmic! starts at 8:30 that night so I really don't get why later times aren't opening up. Anyone else??

I would prob. give it a week and there will be spots that become free. I'm sure that they will be changing the ADR for the later spots soon.

Yes, keep trying. It's not always 30 days that they release later times. I had luck at 25 days.

I made all of our ADR's during the second week of June for our Aug. 26th through Sept. 4th trip and was able to get a 6:00 P.M. seating for four at Mama Melrose with the FDP with no problem.

This isn't the first time I have heard of difficulties getting later ADR times for FDP lately. I wonder what the deal is? It kind of makes me worry about ours. maybe I should call and reconfirm to be sure.

Hi! I was not trying for Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic, but I did call about 80 days before for the latest dinner for Prime Time at MGM and was told 5:40 was the latest. I was hoping for later so I did not book at that time. Then I called at about the 35th day mark and was told the latest at that time was only 4:10 and since we are eating lunch earlier at Coral Reef at 12:00, I did not take it. Then I called at the 25th day mark, and was told a 5:40 was now the latest. I questioned the CM about later dining times opening up, he felt since MGM closed at 8:30 that night, there would not be any later seatings then 6:OO. I decided to take the 5:40, but would have liked later than 6:00. I wonder if anyone else has ever gotten a later time there when the park closed at 8:30.

I, too, am a little confused because many here have said later times do open as you get closer, however, the CM I spoke to said he has not seen the Prime Time for later than 6:00 when it closes at 8:30.

I called at 90 days out and couldn't get later than 4:30 at Mama Melroses for that same week.

I'm hoping they open up CRT later on 9/5. The latest AR was 5:45 and Wishes isn't until 8:30.

Usually the fantasmic dinner packages open up for later times on the Sunday or Monday that is 3 weeks prior to the week you want the reservation...i think they wait to see how booked the restaurant is for regular dining before making it available for the fantasmic package. For example, I can probably call now for Wednesday August 31 and get 4:30 at the latest, but if I call on Sunday or Monday I may have later options available. For your 8-27 date, I would call this week and see if the later times have opened up.

I have a 4:30 Fantasmic at H&V on 8/27! I tried for a later time this past Sunday, and was told that was the latest available. Guess I'll try again today or tomorrow. I was hoping for something after the parade at 5...

I called Monday this week and was able to get H&V at 6:30 the 13th. The CM was really nice and helpful.

We couldn't get any dinner ADR at Mama Melrose's a few weeks ago for our vacation (Aug 24-29)

Same here. We have a 4:30 H&V ADR for Fantasmic during the last week of October. I'll probably try for a later time, but if not, we will survive. It is somewhat annoying though.
