Late Tusker House Breakfast?

I had a reservation for a Tusker House late lunch, but a late breakfast seemed to fit a bit better into our plans. Plus a little character interaction is a nice way to start the morning. My reservation is for 10:15, but they only serve breakfast until 10:30. Lunch begins at 11:00. I've read that sometimes people stay through their late breakfast and eat a bit of lunch too. Is that true? Is that frowned upon?

I originally wanted a lunch because I wanted to sample some of the ethnic foods, and I'm more of a lunch person. My husband is a big breakfast person and he's been interested in a Disney Breakfast Buffet since I mentioned my family and I went to one a few years ago. And I said something about unlimited Mickey waffles... We will be at Animal Kingdom that day so it isn't out of our way.

This is what we have experienced both times at the Tusker House. I hope this helps.

We had 11:30 a.m. reservations. We were not allowed in (only to use the restroom) until breakfast was switched over to lunch which was about 11:35 a.m. Breakfast was still out around 11:15 (restroom break) and people will still getting food. When we were allowed in, some guests were just finishing up breakfast. I don't know if they were allowed to go up and get lunch at that point of if they were nicely asked to leave.

Hope this helps. We really like the lunch buffet. It is not the typical food that you would find at the other buffets such as Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare.

We do the 10:20am EVERY trip and not once have we still been there for the lunch switch.

Thanks for the information. I held onto the lunch ADR as well, just in case I changed my mind. And, I think I may stick with lunch, or try their breakfast another morning. I wasn't quite comfortable with the idea of even attempting to sit through the breakfast, it's good to know it is not common practice.
