Late Sept. Animal Kingdom

My Dis Verterans, I am a Fl Resident and Disney Addict who didnt enjoy her Disney Christmas Vacation, WAY Crowded, I know I was warned... We didnt go to Animal Kingdom on our trip and feel like I need to go back and soon I feel like I have to go back and get my fix without crowds...... We were thinking of a weekend trip in late September with the Grandparents, No one has gone to Animal Kingdom and we are very excited to go, Please tell me is late September a good time especially to see animals or is there another time after july we can go...Thanks in advance for you input...

late september is a great time to go to WDW overall. the crowds are small. lines are not too long, weather is very comfortable. it's a great time to go. you'll have a wonderful time. we've gone to WDW twice in late september and have nothing but good things to say about it.
