As I posted elsewhere, the only disadvantage I see to late dining is you have the early show. Other cruises do the show after late seating dinner as well as after early seating dinner.
Golden Mickeys was the exception because they had a third, 10:30pm show open to everyone. THAT was a great idea. And the show on Thursday (sea day on the Eastern), they had a 2:30 pm showing, as well as the normal evening shows, that too is a great idea.
However, only one show BEFORE dinner should be changed.
