I've tried three different times now to make reservations late - less than 30 days in advance. I'm always optimistic, and have actually been successful on 2 of the 3 occasions. What has made me curious, however, is that BCV seems to have more availability for these late date visits than BWV.
Just based on my unscientific observation of discussions on this board, I would have thought BCV would be in somewhat higher demand than BWV.
Everytime I've called, however, SOMETHING has been available at BCV and NOTHING was available at BWV. Unfortunately, what was available at BCV did not meet our needs. (On one occasion, we were lucky enough to secure a ressie at OKW).
We just booked 2 nights for mid-January at BCV. MS put me on hold to "see what she could work out" and about 3 minutes later, I had my 2 nights. I'm assuming that she pulled a room previously released for cash back into DVC inventory - does that sound like how it works? If that was the case, even that option was not available for BWV.
Since I own at both resorts, I'm glad to note that BWV remains extremely popular. Just interesting that my experience indicates BCV is in somewhat less demand than BWV.

with you Bcv is more often available than bwv.

From my very limited experiece it was the other way around.... when we tried to book a 2 bedroom at BCV. we booked a 1 bedroom at BWV (that was the largest room availble at both resorts...) This was 37 days out...

We also waitlisted for a 2 bedroom, for that trip, at BC, BW and VWL... VWL came thru in a week, then a week after that a 2 bedroom at BWV came thru... Just a studio opened up at BCV.

I suppose it is timing....
