Thanks in advance for the help!

My DW, DD (10) and I are trying to decide to do DLP on Sunday or a different weekday (Monday? Tuesday?) towards the end of November.

The pros for Sunday is that DLP is open four hours longer. The cons are that we heard crowds are unbearable on Sunday.

Is that true? Does the extra four hours help offset the crowds on Sunday?

Many thanks!

If you are sure you'd make the most out of those extra 4 hours on the Sunday (ie be there for 8.45am and don't leave until 10pm) then it might be worthwhile - but it will really only equal out the shorter midweek days, in my opinion. And you'd have to plan your day a lot more on a Sunday than on a midweek day, to get the best out of it.

Midweek late November you'll have minimal queues most of the day, but at weekends its really pretty hectic (I saw my first Saturday mid-morning at DLP last month and omg :scared1: couldn't believe how much busier it is at the weekends than midweek!).

You don't miss any of the Christmas shows etc by going midweek - they take place each day in Christmas season.

I would say definitely mid-week. It is so much quieter and on some of the rides you can literally get off walk around to the top of the queue and get right back on again, something that will not happen at all at the weekend. In fact one year we were on Casey Jnr and we didn't even have to get off, the CM just asked if we wanted to stay on and we did.

It will also be far easier to see the parades and shows.

I find there are enough people for a good atmosphere but you just don't have to wait as long for everything. The hours may be longer at the weekend but you will spend those extra hours in lots and lots of queues!!

Mid week for me as well :goodvibes
IMO on sundays you get half the fun and even if you could enjoy the parks for longer the queues and the crowd would make you double as tired anyway:scared:
