Late Nov/Early Dec chances

***I posted this in the DVC Resorts forum but no one has answered so I am hoping maybe this is a better place to post this type of question***

Hi, I am wondering the chances of getting a BLT 1-bed SV or LV at 7mos out for Nov 29-Dec 5.

My aunt won a trip to Disney and she will be taking my girls as her 3rd & 4th free guest. They are staying at GF. My dh, myself and my boys would like to be somewhat close by to them. I had asked before about a studio during that time but you guys all let me know that wouldn't be happening due to that time period being so popular for DVC members. We have stayed at BLT before in a 1-bed and would gladly do that again. What do you all think our chances are of getting a room?

Standard view - unlikely
Lake view - maybe

That's a popular week for DVC members. If you have a home resort at WDW, I would try to book it now and then try to switch.

I've looked and there's not a full week. Last time I checked- but that can change

Unfortunately the 1st 2 weeks of December are some of the very busiest for DVC. On the upside 1 bedrooms are the last to book up so there may be some hope.

If you want to go maybe you should book a cash reservation until something DVC opens up. The cancellation policy with cash is much more lenient.

DizBub, I hadn't thought about making a cash ressie there. I guess I need to price that out to see if it's doable. Thanks for the suggestion
