Late Nights Live! Cancellations in OCTOBER

So I just received a call from a CM saying my dates for the Late Nights Live event during F&W was cancelled. Apparently most of the Tuesdays - in my case 10/07 are being cancelled. I was offered a Thursday date but had to turn it down along with the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party offered so they refunded a partial amount instead.

I booked it when I booked the F&W premium package but was told I would still get the goodies - magic band, wine, gift card, credentials, etc.


Has anyone else received such calls?

Yeah I got called about our Premium Package including cancelling Tuesday Late Nights Live! on October 28th due to operational issues. They offered to change it to Thursday night or refund just the price of the Late Nights Live! and do the other items listed. Apparently the reported billion dollars Disney spent on the Magic Bands didn't do much for linking their computer system since we are scheduled to leave via Magic Express on Thursday morning and fly out around lunch.

I told them to cancel the whole package and will take DW to a nice dinner instead.

My guess is if they are canceling Tuesdays and moving people to Thursday, it means it is not selling as well as hoped, particularly on Tuesdays.

All they told me was operational issues. I assume they weren't making enough profit to keep both nights. The part that irked me the most was during the reservation call they spent a lot of time explaining that once booked there would be no changes or refunds allowed and payment was immediately due. I guess Disney follows the Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes all the rules.
